In this DVD, Neurolinguist and Clinical Hypnotherapist Andrew T. Austin explores the tinnitus experience with tinnitus sufferers. The main outcome of these explorations is to lead the client’s awareness to the areas of the experience that can be changed to markedly reduce the impact of the condition upon the sufferer.

The content of this DVD is suitable for both hypnotherapists and NLP practitioners as well as sufferers of the condition who wish to learn more about the management and treatment of tinnitus. Using a combination of Neurolinguistic approaches, creative visualization and integral eye movement therapy, Austin demonstrates a logical step by step approach to treatment. A former sufferer himself, Andrew T. Austin has first hand experience of both the condition and the practices taught to the clients in these sessions. He writes, “When I was a child I used to keep aquarium fish. Before my father built me a large shed to accommodate the tanks, I had a few tanks kept in my bedroom. There was a time that I had to change the airpump to a more powerful but much more noisy one. It was quite troublesome at first, because when I lay in bed, I couldn’t not hear it. It was as if I had to tune into that terrible hum. But after a few days, I no longer noticed the incessant noise of the pump. Basically, I had adapted to the fact that the noise was supposed to be there and I no longer noticed it. I simply forgot.”

Andrew T. Austin is a former nurse and has a specialist interest in neurology and the neurosciences. He Author of the critically acclaimed book, “The Rainbow Machine – Tales From a Neurolinguist’s Journal” and known for his creative exploration of his clients problems and innovative solutions.
