Taoist Meditation isn’t documented within the West. Most of the books concerning Taoism comparable to the I Ching and Tao Te Ching are known a lot for their philosophy instead of teaching Taoist Meditation techniques.

Unlike the Buddhist, Zen, or Indian meditation, Taoist meditation has ne’er been mainstream. That being said, the Taoist meditation tradition has been alive for thousands of years in monasteries in Western China and is one of the deepest religious systems on the planet.

I was lucky enough to be told it by somebody who shared with me this outstanding knowledge. I even have written in my books when I asked my teacher Taoist Sage Liu decorated Chieh why he didn’t teach meditation his response was that there have been only a few who wished to learn.

I feel this is often dynamic within the West as a lot and more individuals are turning to meditation for stress relief, peace of mind, and spirituality. a lot of them are rolling with Taoist values of balance, peace, and association with nature.
